Interactive workshop and group conversation

Workshops & Speaking

Don't just give people something to hear. Give them something to experience.

Interactive workshops and talks about relationships, communication, connection and the way we show up with other people.

Good ideas matter. But experiencing them changes things.

You can tell someone to communicate better. Be more confident. Listen. Be vulnerable. Stop making assumptions.

They may even agree with every word.

And then they walk into a real conversation, get nervous, feel misunderstood or don't know what to say — and all that good advice suddenly becomes much harder to use.

That's why my workshops don't stop at talking about connection. Whenever possible, we practice it.

People don't have to sit quietly for an hour.

Depending on the group and setting, a session can combine teaching with conversation, reflection, games and practice.

01

Learn

Understand what's happening underneath common relationship and communication patterns.

02

Notice

Recognize your own reactions, assumptions, habits and ways of relating.

03

Try

Experiment with another way of responding, communicating or approaching a situation.

04

Connect

Talk, participate and learn from what happens with the actual people in the room.

What could we talk about?

Sessions can be built around one focused topic or combined into a larger program.

Connection

What actually helps people connect?

Moving beyond small talk, performance and assumptions to create more genuine interaction.

Communication

What are you saying — and what are they hearing?

Exploring listening, interpretation, reactions and what happens when conversations go sideways.

Confidence

Showing up without performing.

Building confidence that doesn't depend on getting the perfect response from someone else.

Vulnerability

Being open without sharing everything.

Understanding vulnerability, boundaries and how trust develops over time.

Relationships

The patterns we bring with us.

Looking at expectations, reactions, habits and the choices that shape relationships.

Curiosity

What changes when we stop assuming?

Using curiosity to understand other people instead of immediately filling in the blanks ourselves.

Different rooms need different conversations.

The topic, language and activities can be adapted to the people who will actually be there.

Companies & Teams

Communication, trust, collaboration, assumptions, interpersonal dynamics and how people relate beyond their job titles.

Singles & Dating Groups

Confidence, communication, vulnerability, dating patterns and creating connection without losing yourself in the process.

Couples

Communication, appreciation, conflict, expectations and continuing to choose connection in an ongoing relationship.

Parents of Singles

Understanding the dating experience, offering support and navigating the line between helping and adding pressure.

Schools & Young Adults

Self-awareness, communication, boundaries, relationships and learning how to relate more thoughtfully to other people.

Communities & Organizations

Talks and experiences for retreats, conferences, community programs, weekends and special events.

In The Room

Sometimes the most useful part isn't what I say.

It may be the conversation participants have with the person next to them.

The answer they realize they always give.

The assumption they notice themselves making.

The role play that feels surprisingly familiar.

Or the moment they try responding differently and experience what changes.

Learning becomes much more interesting when you can catch yourself in the act.

Try it.
What did you notice?
Ask another question.
What did you assume?
Say it differently.
What changed?

One idea. Lots of ways to bring it into the room.

TALK

A focused, engaging talk designed around your audience and the topic you want to explore.

PARTICIPATE

GO DEEPER

EXPERIENCE

Event + Workshop

Your Group

I don't want to give the same talk to every room.

A room full of singles doesn't need the same examples as a management team.

A group of couples isn't asking the same questions as parents trying to support adult children who are dating.

Before an event, we'll talk about who is coming, what they're dealing with and what you hope they'll take away.

Then we build the experience around them.

Useful after everyone goes home.

I want people to enjoy being in the room. I also want them to leave with something they can actually use.

Not ten rules to remember. Not a script for the “right” conversation.

A better understanding of themselves. Something new to notice. A different question to ask. Another way to respond.

Small changes in the way we relate can change what happens between us.
