Jessica's Story

My Story

I didn't become a dating and relationship coach because relationships came easily.

Growing up as the child of divorced parents shaped the way I viewed relationships long before I ever started dating. Like many people, I carried questions, fears, expectations, and uncertainty into adulthood without realizing how much they influenced the way I connected with others.

Marriage didn't magically solve everything either. Like every couple, my husband and I have experienced seasons that stretched us, challenged us, and taught us more than we expected. Those experiences didn't make me lose faith in relationships. They helped me understand them more deeply.

Over time, I realized something that changed everything for me. Healthy relationships aren't built by finding perfect people. They're built by people who are willing to stay curious, communicate honestly, and continue choosing connection—even when it's uncomfortable.

That realization eventually led me to become a certified dating and relationship coach. Along the way, I discovered something else. People rarely change because someone gives them better advice. They change because they experience something that helps them see themselves differently.

That's why my work doesn't stop with conversations. I create meaningful experiences that help people understand themselves, connect with others, and build healthier relationships. Sometimes that happens during a coaching session. Sometimes through a workshop. Sometimes while walking outdoors, through a game, an event, a visualization, or simply one thoughtful question that stays with someone long after they leave.

Today, after more than fifteen years of marriage, I still don't believe anyone has all the answers. I simply believe that meaningful experiences create meaningful change.

What I Believe

These ideas shape every coaching session, workshop, event, and conversation I create.

Relationships aren't about perfection.

They're about understanding yourself, understanding another person, and continuing to choose connection.

Dating isn't a performance.

The goal isn't becoming someone different so another person will choose you. The goal is becoming more fully yourself.

Every relationship teaches us something.

Even the relationships that don't last can help us become wiser, healthier, and more prepared for what comes next.

Curiosity creates connection.

The right question often changes far more than the right advice ever could.

How We Learn

I believe people learn best when they experience something for themselves. That's why our work together doesn't always look the way people expect.

Discover

Discover

Sometimes we don't know what's shaping our choices until we see it differently. We'll uncover patterns, assumptions, strengths, and possibilities that may have been hiding in plain sight.

Conversation

Practice

Whether it's a first date, a difficult conversation, or setting healthy boundaries, we'll practice before real life asks you to.

Experience

Experience

Games, workshops, conversation cards, and creative activities often teach us things that ordinary conversations never could.

Journal

Reflect

Sometimes one thoughtful question stays with us longer than an hour of advice. Reflection is often where real change begins.

Working Together

No two people walk through my door with the same story. That's why I don't believe in one-size-fits-all advice.

Some sessions are practical. Some are reflective. Some are challenging. Some are full of laughter.

We'll use conversations, visualizations, activities, role-playing, thoughtful questions, and real-life experiences to help you better understand yourself and your relationships.

My goal isn't to tell you who to become. It's to help you become more fully yourself. Because that's where genuine connection begins.

Around the Room

The things you'll notice aren't just decorations. They each reflect something about how I coach, how people learn, and what matters during the process.

Walking Shoes

Sometimes we need to slow down.

Some of the best insights don't come from trying harder. They come from giving ourselves enough space to notice what we've been carrying all along.

One thoughtful question can change everything.

Advice has its place. But the right question often stays with us much longer.

Conversation Cards
Games

Learning should be experienced.

Some lessons are easier to understand when we experience them instead of simply talking about them.

Reflection creates lasting change.

The conversation doesn't always end when the session does. Sometimes that's when the real learning begins.

Journal
Tea

Good conversations shouldn't feel rushed.

People open up when they feel comfortable enough to simply be themselves.

There isn't one right path.

My role isn't to tell you what your life should look like. It's to help you trust yourself enough to choose your own direction.

I'd Love to Hear Your Story.

Every person arrives with different experiences, different questions, and different hopes for the future.

Whether we meet through coaching, an event, a workshop, or simply a conversation, my hope is that you'll leave feeling more hopeful, more confident, and more like yourself.

Healthy relationships don't begin by becoming someone else. They begin by understanding who you already are.
